Our Story
Welcome to Mars Saves Dogs, LLC, Mobile Obedience Academy!
My name is Markus aka Mars, Certified Canine Behaviorist also owner/founder of Mars Saves Dogs, LLC,. My mission is to approach every dog with the same care and dedication as if they were my own furry companion. With years of experience as a Certified Canine Behaviorist, I've honed my skills in using empathy and positive reinforcement as the foundation of my training philosophy. I firmly believe that building trust, love, and a loyal bond begins with understanding and respect.
In my practice, I prioritize safety above all else. Whether your dog is in my care for training sessions or simply spending time with me, their happiness and well-being are paramount. I adhere strictly to science-based methods, ensuring that every technique I use is grounded in the latest research and proven effective.
One of my core principles is the use of force-free practices. I believe that positive, gentle methods lead to lasting results and a harmonious relationship between you and your canine companion. Communication is key, and I work tirelessly to establish a strong connection and mutual understanding between dogs and their humans.
My journey in canine care and training began back in 2005, and since then, I've continuously expanded my knowledge and refined my approach. When I'm not working with dogs, I often give back to local rescues and shelters in San Diego County. It's important to me to contribute positively to the welfare of all animals in our community.
My experience spans various environments, from inside facilities to the comfort of clients' homes. I specialize in teaching common good manners and effective handling techniques for dogs of all ages and breeds. By observing your dog and understanding their perspective, I strive to speak their unique "love language" and foster a deeper connection.
